Blog Update - April 2007

So far this blog has been live for 20 days and has slowly but steadily been growing in both visitor traffic and comments. I’ve seen my Technorati ranking rise to 671,000 from the millions when I first launched. Unfortunately I did not see any boost to this brand new blog from the recent PageRank update - although my credit card comparison site did get a boost to a PR3. That is a VERY impressive feat for a site that is comprised solely of hundreds of affiliate links and no real content. A backlink from The Washington Times and JohnChow.com have helped out a lot.
Since starting this blog I have been approved for Adsense and Kontera Adlinks programs and have seen modest earnings from them. I have also been included in the so-called “Misty Car Club” by Scot over at MeridianCrest. I’m quite proud of the picture I made for my Misty theme, it’s said that if you want something - make it the first and last thing you see everyday to remind yourself and stay focused. So the picture of a Ferrari on my blog is that reminder to keep plugging away and working toward that dream.
May will be the first full month of blogging for Shaun Carter dot Com - I’m sure this blog will see some strong growth in the coming weeks.
